It was a great start to the weekend. Both qualifying sessions were complete. With pole position on starting grid for both categories Pre-national 600 (R6) and GP1 Classica (R1)
The first day of the race weekend at Snetterton was very successful, with a podium finish in all 4 races. The day started off with qualifying in pole potions for both of the categories entered; GP1 Classic (R1) and Pre-national 600 sport (R6)
GP1 Classic:
Race 1 - 1st position and fastest lap.- Great race - Swapping and changing lead throughout the race.
Race 2 - 2nd position. - Struggled to keep up with the pace of the race leader but kept a good gap between myself and 3rd place.
Pre-national 600 sport:
Race 1 - 2nd position and fastest lap. - Lead every lap then unfortunately due to backmarker traffic the win was lost in the final corner.
Race 2 - 2nd position and fastest lap.- made a slight mistake running wide causing me to go off track, was able to stay on the bike and gain back most of the positions lost. There were some good battles while making my way back through the pack.
The last day of the race weekend at Snetterton was another successful one, with a podium finish in all 4 races again. I started the Pre-National 600 Sport races in pole position and the GP1 Classic races in 2nd position.
GP1 Classic:
Race 1 - 2nd position.- Great battles during the first couple of laps. However, the lead racer was able to pull away and due to arm pump, I struggled but managed to hold onto the 2nd position.
Race 2 - 3rd position. - Another race of good battles trying to keep 2nd position but unfortunately on the last lap, I lost out to 3rd place, due to arm pump again.
Pre-National 600 sport:
Race 1 - 2nd position. - A great race with lots of battles and position switching. Race 2 - 1st position and fastest lap.- A fantastic start as the lights went out. Lots of position switching between 1st and 2nd but whilst in 2nd I managed to go round the outside with a tight squeeze into the last bend on the inside and take 1st position in the last corner of the last lap.
